Soffits, Fascias, Guttering and Cladding from South Fix Glazing
At SFG we pride ourselves on carrying out a very high level of workmanship. Initial site visit survey, costing and completion of work is all undertaken by ourselves.
Roof line problems are a growing concern and should not be left un-maintained, as they can escalate into a more costly problem. We can provide a virtually maintenance free one time solution at a very competitive cost.
We supply and install flat soffit boards, vented boards, tongue and groove boards which can be fitted in linear lengths.
As you can see here, we have totally removed the gutter, soffit and fascia and if the area needed attention it would be done now. All rafter ends are now aligned to achieve a very true linear finish, should we come across any defective rafter ends, these will be replaced with new ones. Finally all the new PVCu material is installed to complete the works.
A PVCu cover board can also be installed in cases where the timber fascia boards are in sound condition. This can be a more cost effective option but we can advise upon survey.
We remove any asbestos and dispose of, in line with the current legislative guidelines.
There are no hidden or extra scaffolding costs as we use our own towers and scaffold for a comfortable working situation.
Cladding is an area that is often overlooked on many properties, highlighting large weathered, unsightly and dull areas that can spoil the appearance of your home. Also a large number of timber cladded properties we have worked on have suffered from rot allowing damp to find it's way in behind the boards.
As you can see here, the transformation is outstanding and whilst improving the appearance, more importantly our system offers a water-tight solution.
In addition our PVC-UE boards offer better insulation properties due to the way in which they are manufactured. Essentially they are a PVC-UE foamed core which allows flexibility and insulation with a tough gloss outer surface. The finish on the boards is resistant to acids, alkalis, seawater and atmospheric pollution.
